SMS

Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send and receive text, graphic or melody massages.

To send an SMS type text in SMS menu and indicate subscriber’s number. Number should be entered in the following way:

•  - If you are sending SMS in Georgia: 8, operator’s code and  subscriber's GSM number;
•  - If you are sending SMS outside Georgia*: dial +, country code, mobile operator’s code and a subscriber's  GSM number;
•  - From Geocell menu: choose My Geocell ->> E-mail, enter e-mail and text;

You can also send SMS to Geocell subscribers from the Internet site: www.sms.ge;

Do not forget:

•  - Before sending the SMS, please make sure that Geocell service center number: +995779104400 is entered in appropriate SMS menu;
•  - Your text message must not exceed 160 symbols;
•  - Reception of graphic and melody messages is possible only for some phone models and charging is done according to how many SMS-es are accumulated;

To all international destinations SMS sending cost is 0.06 GEL, except the following countries:
